We bring inner transformation
together with social change
through embodied practices
and in community.
Without inner change there can be no outer change. Without outer change no change matters. – Rev angel Kyodo williams
Our Mission
Transformative Change (XC) is dedicated to bridging the inner and outer lives of social change agents. Our mission is to inform, incite and empower a broad-based, presence-centered, and sustainable movement of justice for all. Check out our offerings and see what meets you where you are.
Retreats
We understand that folx who are interested in bridging inner and outer transformation come to the movement to transform race with different kinds of experience, learning, and practice. We offer a range of programs that move from entering the conversation about race through broadening and deepening that conversation to commiting to anti-racism as a path to one’s own liberation linked to the liberation of all. Participaants can choose these programs individually or in sequence.

As an activist, I’ve seen so many people burn out. When I found Transformative Change, I joined a community committed to making social change from within and bringing this to our activism. I’ve learned that self-care isn’t just about avoiding burnout. It’s a practice of liberation.
